New Paths Switzerland

The Person-Centred Future Planning Network Switzerland was created and established on 24 October this year after a series of meetings between partners.

The project group, a member of the New Paths to Inclusion Network, was founded as a registered association under the name ‘WINklusion – Netzwek Persönliche Zukunftsplanung Schweiz’ after the October meeting at the University of Applied Science in Special Needs Education, Zurich.

Stakeholders in the person-centred planning field then discussed a number of issues at the meeting including the upcoming meeting in March 2015 as well as the organization of networking events and public relations campaigns for the project group.

A number of alternative events are also planned for the coming months including a presentation on the goals and events organised by Person-Centred Future Planning Network Switzerland at ‘Swiss Handicap’, an exhibition dedicated to the needs and concerns of people with disabilities, which will take place on 28 November.

The Fourth International Conference on Person-Centred Planning will also be held in St. Gallen, Switzerland and Bregenz, Austria from 12 to 14 March 2015.

The Unviersity of Applied Science in Special Needs Education, Zurich will finally play host to specialists and organisations in the field of disabilities for a conference discussing the issues of social inclusion and participation on 8 and 9 May 2015.
